SMS Messaging Policy

Overview

Gem City Cleaning Tools LLC ("we," "us," or "our") provides text (SMS) messaging features that allow cleaning businesses using our platform to send appointment-related text messages to the customers who have booked their services. This SMS Messaging Policy explains what messages are sent, how consent is collected, how often you may receive messages, the rates that may apply, how to stop messages, and how we protect the mobile information associated with this program.

These are one-way, service-related (transactional) messages tied to your scheduled cleanings. We do not use this messaging program to send marketing or promotional content. This policy supplements our Privacy Policy.

1. Types of Messages You May Receive

If you consent, you may receive the following types of text messages from the cleaning business you booked with:

• Appointment reminders for your scheduled cleanings.
• Appointment confirmations when a cleaning is booked or confirmed.
• Cancellation notices when a scheduled cleaning is cancelled.
• Reschedule reminders when your appointment date or time changes.

These messages are informational and service-related only. We do not send marketing, advertising, or promotional text messages through this program.

2. How You Provide Consent (Verbal Opt-In)

Consent to receive these text messages is collected verbally during phone or in-person booking. Before any messages are sent, a staff member reads a standardized consent script that discloses:

• The name of the business sending the messages.
• The types of messages you will receive.
• The approximate message frequency.
• That message and data rates may apply.
• How to opt out (reply STOP) and how to get help (reply HELP).
• A reference to this policy and our Privacy Policy.

Messages are only sent after you verbally agree. When you provide consent, we record the date and time of consent, the staff member who collected it, the phone number you provided, and the version of the script that was read. We retain this record as proof of your consent. Your consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your scheduled cleanings, but is typically approximately 2 to 4 messages per month.

4. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Standard messaging rates from your mobile carrier will apply to messages you send or receive. Gem City Cleaning Tools and the cleaning business are not responsible for any charges from your mobile carrier. Please contact your carrier for details about your messaging plan.

5. Opting Out and Getting Help

• Opt out: Reply STOP to any message at any time to unsubscribe. You will receive a one-time confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and you will not receive further messages unless you opt in again.
• Help: Reply HELP for assistance, or contact the business you booked with using the support information they provided.

6. Privacy of Your Mobile Information

No mobile information — including your phone number and your SMS consent — will be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Your mobile opt-in information and consent are used solely to deliver the appointment-related messages described in this policy. We share your phone number only with the messaging service providers that transmit these messages on our behalf, and only for the purpose of sending them. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third parties for their own purposes.

7. Carrier Disclaimer

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of text messages is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this SMS Messaging Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued participation in the messaging program after any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
